Montréal hosts the UCI Road World Championships from September 20 to 27, 2026 — eight days of racing on the Mont-Royal circuit. Expect significant road closures and heavy demand downtown and on the Plateau. Reserve a guaranteed spot early, ideally outside the closure perimeter, then finish on foot or by metro.
How to plan it
Book early. Eight days of events (time trials Sept 20-22, road races Sept 24-27) mean high demand across the city.
Park outside the circuit. Streets around Mount Royal and downtown will be closed — choose a spot beyond the perimeter and walk or take the metro (Green & Orange lines).
